Greening Ohio: The Wendy's Company and Keep Ohio Beautiful Unite for Native Tree Planting along the shores of Alum Creek State Park Beach

The Wendy's Company and Keep Ohio Beautiful are proud to announce their collaboration on the "Greening Ohio "initiative, a joint effort to promote environmental sustainability and beautification across the Buckeye State. As part of this initiative, the two organizations are joining forces to plant native trees along the shores of Alum Creek State Park Beach along with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) worked together to beautify and enhance the beach at Alum Creek State Park by planting 40 large native trees in honor of Earth Day.

The tree planting event held on Tuesday, April 23^rd brought together volunteers from The Wendy's Company and Keep Ohio Beautiful, as well as members of the local community, to enhance the natural beauty of one of Ohio's most beloved outdoor destinations. By planting native trees along the shoreline, the initiative aims to improve water quality, prevent erosion, and create habitat for local wildlife.

Keep Ohio Beautiful, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities to take greater responsibility for enhancing their local environment, brings years of expertise and experience to the partnership. Together with The Wendy's Company, they are working to promote sustainable practices and environmental stewardship throughout the state.
